Cosmetic condition is as shown. This Model 2270 was bought overseas by a USN sailor. It's been on a shelf in his basement for years. The moisture got to it, as you can see in the picture of the inside (from above). Apparently it's just surface rust, since everything checks out okay. The bottom view shows no rust. Some of the the dial lamps are out and the Signal Strength Meter does not light up. Both meters do work. The FM sounds good, it pulled in a lot of stations I don't normally get. The AM works. I checked the PHONO, AUX and TAPE 1 and TAPE 2 inputs, and both speaker outputs. No problems, everything sounds fine. (Impressive PHONO section.) Some of the knob caps slip a little when turned, you'll want to reglue them. I sprayed the pots when I had it open. This receiver is being sold "AS IS".
