Absolutely stunning, and rare, black South Sea/Tahitian multi-coloured cultured pearl strand from Mikimoto.  

The necklace consists of thirty seven pearls of gloriously varied colours - black, bronze, silver, green, gold varying in size from 10-12.2mm. The 18K clasp has a small diamond in the centre and is stamped with Mikimoto clam with 'M' and '750'.  The second pearl from the clasp suspends an 'M' charm. Some of the pearls have natural blemishes, as can be seen in the photographs, but the pearls have the most fantastic lustre and the colours of the pearls are truly spectacular. Total overall weight is 75.6g.

I have had the strand re-strung and polished at Mikimoto, Bond Street.  I can include the receipt for this.

Comes with vintage silk and velvet Mikimoto box and December 2014 valuation for £8000 from Mikimoto, Bond Street.  The valuation now would be higher.
