Named for the
legendary sailing race of the same name, the Admiral’s Cup is arguably
Corum’s most famous collection, and is the brand’s flagship line. While
the very first watch in this collection was introduced in 1960, it was
not until the release of the reinterpreted 1983 edition that the most
distinctive and immediately recognizable design elements associated with
it- colorful nautical pennants and a distinctive 12-sided bezel – were
incorporated. Today Corum’s visually distinctive Admiral’s Cup watches
continue to be associated with all major sailing events – the
combination of technical excellence and sporty colorful aesthetics are
tied inextricably to the major sailing competitions and prestigious
sailors of the last 50 years, and are made in tribute to the spirit of
men of the sea.
