This auction is for a hand crafted chained .925 sterling silver Rosary.  The rosary is all hand-made including the chains that link the beads together (each link is made by hand).

I learned to make this type of rosary from my Mother when I was a young teenager.  Over her lifetime my Mom made over 100,000 rosaries which she sent to missions all over the world.  When my Mom died in 2008 my sister, my brother and I decided to keep our Mom’s mission rosaries work going.  The mission rosaries are made with wire and plastic beads, centers, and crucifixes which allow us to make a lot of them at lower cost to send out. My brother and I make the rosaries and my sister handles all the administrative work of getting the rosaries to the missions. 

 

In the fall of 2010, in addition to making rosaries for the missions, we decided to make sterling silver and precious and semiprecious stones rosaries that we could sell. 

 

Through our mission rosaries work and now our rosaries to help other organizations, we hope to honor our Mother’s memory and the work that she did to spread the praying of the rosary throughout the world.
