17th Century Japanese Porcelain Kakiemon Style Censer w/ Tiger



This Japanese porcelain censer is done in the Kakiemon style and decorated with an enamel tiger who appears to be chasing a butterfly, and other enamel designs. The cover is decorated with a figural finial. It dates from the 17th Century and measures approximately 2 + ¾ inches in overall height and 2 inches wide. It is in excellent condition with age appropriate wear including some staining and some wear on the enamel.
