Gimbal stabilizers, sliders, and steadicams are great and each has it's place.  For smoothness, precision, and repeatability, the rideable track dolly has no equal.  It is indestructable and simple, gives great results without hundreds of hours of practice, puts no strain on the operator, and uses no batteries.

This unit is the industry standard and made to last with a 3/4"  (18mm) baltic birch computer routed deck and laser cut, mig welded steel trucks.  

Wheels are smooth and quiet with ABEC 5 bearings.

Trucks are four wheeled units that not only pivot/swivel, but slide from side to side on Teflon coated UHMW bearing plates.  These trucks allow the wheels to change track width as they go around curves, resulting in excellent smoothness and tracking.  They are superior to cheap trucks that only swivel.

Dolly, completely assembled, ready to go out of the box;  30"x40" dolly holds tripod, operator, and assistant - this is the same sized deck as a Matthews doorway dolly; can easily be carried in one hand; deck comprised of super stiff baltic birch plywood; 600 LB payload capacity; steel pushbar and wrench included; wheels set on 24.5" centers so that dolly also works on Matthews steel curved and straight track and Long Valley Equipment PVC straight and curved track; very smooth and ultra quick to set up!
