Absolutely gorgeous, magnificent antique Limoges France hand painted lamp with lovely portrait of a woman with fantastic pastel coloring.
This true masterpiece overall is 23 1/2" high from metal base to top of finial. The lamp is in working condition,
there is one hairline crack, please see all of my pictures for more details.
- Painted in great detail, side profile of woman in pink & yellow gown adorned with flowers
- Porcelain vase measures 10" tall
- Lovely face which is hard to find amidst soft background of green foliage
- Initialed by artist F.V.P.
- Porcelain finial with flowers measures 1 7/8" diameter
- Ivory shade is included - shade is overall in good condition with 2 small marks
- Shade measures 11" tall x 13 3/4" wide
- I purchased this piece from an antique dealer with a hairline crack in the porcelain (see last photo by woman's foot)
- Hairline is stable, not noticeable & does not affect the beauty of this lamp
- The fine hand painting is beautifully preserved
