Item is in excellent condition with no visible damage. 

ITEM 982 DESCRIPTION 
Antique Cantonese/Chinese rectangular shaped and deep carved card case. 

One side is carved representing Longwood House, the home of Napolean on St. Helena island with mountains in the background and with figures and a dog on the top opening panel of the card case. 

The other side is carved with a garden with mountains in the background and with figures on the top opening panel of the card case. 

The scenes overlap to the side panels of the card case with deep carving throughout. 

Chinese made, circa early 19th century.
