Tape recorder apparently works flawlessly, may need professional servicing or cleaning of controls, to me is Ok, 
 I did not test the recording mode, because I do not have tape, but the recording mode responds,
The meters move with the audio input and the controls respond the same, but sold as is,
the reel to reel have signs of used, nothing to highlight, NO reel tapes are included, Only the Machine,
I just put new belt on it, it's the only thing I did to this machine , See photos and video before Placing a bid or buy
