12 volt negative ground. 6 volt and/or positive ground conversion with optional $59 compact inverter/voltage booster. Nose piece (part that sticks through the dash) measures: 3 5/8 wide, 1 1/2 tall, 5 1/8 between shafts (adjustable), body is 4.5 deep and 8 1/2 wide. Black faceplate measures 2 1/5 by 6 5/8.
