HOWDY FOLKS!
Here we have a COMPLETE SET of the 16 ORIGINAL DIECAST CARS from the FIRST DISNEY/PIXAR 'CARS' MOVIE!
ALL ARE NEW IN THE PACKAGE CONDITION! THESE NEVER EVEN MADE IT ONTO THE SHELF AND HAVE NEVER HAD PRICE STICKERS ATTACHED! ALL still have the original plastic hang tabs still attached.
Apparently there are a number of details some collectors look for which may weigh upon rarity. These differences include: Whether or not "Filmore" is spelled incorrectly on the card back, whether the back of the card shows 12 or 16 cars, and finally the contest dates on the back of the card. I have identified these variations below...
ALL have the "DESERT" card and ALL still have the hangtabs attached
10 have 12 cars on the back and 6 have 16 cars shown (12C/16C)
13 of the 16 card backs have "Fillmore" spelled wrong on the back (earlier version that was corrected), 3 CARS (LIZZIE/CHICK HICKS/LIGHTNING MCQUEEN) have Fillmore spelled correctly. (1L/2L)
ALL have the LICENSE TO WIN LOGO - 4 have the original dates of APRIL 1, 2006-OCTOBER 31, 2006 (SALLY/DOC/SHERIFF/FILMORE) - The other 12 have the ammended 4/26/2006-12/31/2006 DATES. (A1/A26)
