We compared all Wolf Bass and Guitar to LTD Deluxe and Epiphone Les Paul Deluxe and Wolf had better wood than both of them. All they did was change pick-ups and tuner, so we think Wolf is much better deal.
  • Pick-ups and wiring are above average. It sounds like a ES335 As guitar and bass players ourselves, we compared Wolf pick-ups to Gibson USA pickups and other brands. We definitely think Wolf Pickups are up there. If you are a really big fan of EMG, Seymour Duncans, and other big name brands, then you can replace them, but we don't recommend it.

Wolf has done a COMPLETE Reboot!
Do not compare Wolf instruments from before 2015 and not from All in One Guitars.
You may ask who or what is Wolf? They're MIK by brand with big funding, latest CNC machine so that means much detailing and accuracy.
Some people think Wolf is not that good, and people write bad reviews. Why? Because 2-3 out of 100 instruments are not up to quality, which is normal in guitar factories,
 but problem is some retailers that got from NAMM Show before 2015 still sell them without inspection!! Also Wolf has Active Electronics and Pre-amp settings are on full volume. It should be adjusted to players taste. Customers play it and get bad impression.
