It maybe a bold statement, the above but here is some tips on establishing whether other sellers are selling copied versions. Ask other sellers and see what they say?!!
1) Do they offer free updates themselves via there own system? – This is sure sign that they send you copied updated versions. 
2) Do they offer registration codes to authorize the GPS software when 1st installing on the units? – If they do not or state they do it themselves, again, the maps are illegal copies. Our maps, can only be registered once, they cannot be copied onto another SD card for use. It just won’t work on the unit. 
The activation code will be on the SD data and will display once inserted into the GPS unit we sell.
3) Do they advertise the GPS brand name in their auctions? – If not and show only demonstration generic pictures, ask yourself, what have they got to hide?

About Us

 We have over 5 years worth of experience in OEM In-Car entertainment. This sector is one of the fastest expanding industries with units being manufactured to suit all major brands of cars. This sector is constantly being upgraded with firmware, iPod and DVB-T all being technical inclusions over the past year. Due to this, we prefer to order the units in from the manufacturers when we receive the orders from customers, this way, you are sure to receive the most up to date units on the market, unlike some sellers who have had stock in their inventory for over 3 months which may result in you getting a older version with older firmware. Daily, we deal direct with the manufacturers who we have good relations with who send us our goods at the end of every week. Delivery normally takes 7-10 days within the UK and 10-14 days for overseas but on some very rare occasions, it may take up to 28 days so please do refrain from emailing us, upset if it takes slightly longer than the normal timeframes quoted. Should you feel uncomfortable with this selling practice, please take time to read up on the Pre-Sales policy of eBay. Sellers have to meet strict criteria in selling under this policy, which we have fully adhered to. Also, please do not be misled by the eBay wording “Available” in terms of quantity, this is true to the word as we have the units available at all times. Do not be confused by the word “Available” and “In physical stock” as they mean 2 different things. 

It does state Delivery timeframe under the price displayed in the auction. Please bare in mind, this timeframe is a combination of the Postage courier service timeframe and also processing time, which is displayed in the auction. Example: 10 days processing and 1 day postage courier time equals 11 days. (Overseas delivery will be slightly longer) Please do not worry though, this is standard to cover ourselves should any postage delay occurs and items normally arrive within 7 days to us.
We care a great deal on customer service as your satisfaction means the utmost to us and we will endeavor that you are treated with courteousness and respect from start to finish. You may think that once you receive the item, that will be the last we care for you but we will be here for the 2 year warranty that comes with the item. We have full UK after care service which includes an 9 hour phone line support (Mon-Friday 9am-5pm), an logistical centre for repairs and also we can assist in any European language via email (Phone support in English only). Please consider this as when you purchase off other sellers in the UK, there HQ are in China and you only have a time delayed email contact should you need there assistance. We are based in the UK and all dealings are in the UK, not Asia!

 

We strive to give you the best prices and best service unlike dealing with overseas buyers. Please be aware that you may think you are getting a bargain when purchasing overseas but the downside is that some companies that sell products to buyers purchasing a one unit order, you will not get the satisfactory service afterwards should anything go wrong. We have experience in dealing with the far east and realise that some large companies only tend to give after care service to other companies that’s in their best interests, i.e.; further orders etc. We have spoken to previous customers of ours that have horror stories and being left with faulty items and being unable to return them.

 

Also, don’t get stung for custom/excise fees when importing, as we send our goods out from the UK, you will not be charged any fees if based within the E.U, it has been known for customers to pay up to £80 (100 euros) when importing and customs can hold onto a package without notice for random inspections which may result in the return of the parcel to sender. We pay all the duty so no need for you to worry about this.

 Payment

 

For a quicker turnaround, we recommend you use Paypal  We are happy to accept cheques, Postal orders, Bankers drafts or bank transfers (International accepted to). Please email us for bank details (IBAN – SWIFT). We cannot accept cash through the post.

 Returns/Refunds/Damages


IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have any issues or want to return a unit, please DO NOT open a dispute in PayPal or any return cases in eBay, the resolution centre is a buyers tool to use should they find a seller uncooperative and not willing to assist, we offer a returns policy on all our items and are here to assist so please do not open disputes as its not needed. Should you have a return, please email us with whatever reason it is and provide us with your email address, we will then send you a returns form which you need to fill out and send back with the unit, failure to do this may result in a parcel being returned to you or the refund process being slowed down as we would have no means of knowing who a parcel was from! Please return the item in the same condition as when received and also all parts are sent back, failure to do so will result in surcharges being applied to cover the cost of the parts not sent back. Should a unit be mistreated, we will refuse a refund and will act accordingly. This is within our rights as a seller and conditions you have under the Consumer Rights act.
Also, its strict policy, the item has to be returned before a refund is given, we will not issue a refund first and then you send the item back. We will also not be responsible for any postage fees in you returning the unit. Should the item have faults, we will reimburse you the full amount paid with the postage costs you initially paid. Should it be a return and no faults are found, the postage you paid initially is non refundable.~
Should a item be damaged, we will need pictures. Please email us any pictures to ICEBOXAUTO@YAHOO.CO.UK, once you have done, please email us via ebay to notify us that you have done so. Also, where applicable, we can send parts for you to fix the problem if competent.
From the point of receiving the product, you will have 28 days returns policy to return a item for a refund, should it go beyond then, then sadly, a refund is not a option. If you notify us of any faults with the 28 days and the item is not returned within this time, you are still entitled to a refund if we cannot resolve the issue.

 Installing

 

It is highly recommend having a specialist fit these units if you are not trained in this field. We cannot give advice on fitting the units so please do not be disappointed if we cannot give you the correct advice on how to fit them. We are not knowledgeable to every cars fittings so we cannot afford to give advice. Please be aware, we have extensive knowledge on these units and even though they can be classed as Plug-and-Play, some units may need slight alterations so we would recommend an auto-electrician fit the units. Before installing, please get the electrician to bench test the unit to save on timely and costly fees. It has been known for units to get damaged in transit, which are only ever established once they have been plugged in so we recommend getting the electrician to power the unit up on a test station before installing in the car as there time can be quite costly. We are not liable for any installation or removal fees that occur.

 Delivery

Delivery is normally 7-10 days within the UK and 10-14 days for overseas. Please read the ABOUT US section above for delivery out of boundaries times. Once a item has been dispatched and a tracking number is issued. Its the buyers responsibility to keep track of the item, the item should turn up within the timeframe of 1-7 days depending on location so if the parcel does not turn up in this timeframe, please email us immediately so i can start a investigation with the courier. We only have 28 days from the point of the item being dispatched to start the investigation and once beyond this timeframe, we will not be able to make a claim. Failure to contact us within the 28 days from the item being dispatched may result in you losing your money as we are not liable beyond this 28 days period..

 Before Purchasing

 

We are a friendly company and encourage new ebayers to purchase with us. We don’t believe in being like other sellers who quote “any ebayers with zero feedback, please email us before bidding or your bids will be cancelled,” we believe this promotes negative attitude but we kindly ask you to read this before bidding.

EBay charge us approximately £25 on a £400 item which we have to pay, we do claim it back after 14 days but on the example of 10 non payers, our company has to pay upfront £250 to eBay which is a large sum, as you can appreciate also, purchasing, lets say the last unit may result in someone else not being able to purchase and going elsewhere, this in effect means we lose out on the sale so for these reasons, can you please only purchase if you are 100% sure you want the item. Don’t worry if you think you will miss out on the item and want to purchase it and pay 2 weeks later. We have a constant supply of these goods and can fulfill any buyers requirements.

We appreciate it if you could send payment to us within 3 days of purchasing. We will however give you some grace time of up to 7 days if you email us and let us know of your intentions. Sadly, failure to pay or respond to any of our emails will result in us filing for our fees back through eBay after 8 days. This will result in us opening a Non-Paying dispute which will end up with a non paying strike against your eBay username. 3 NPB alerts concluded will result in eBay suspending you.

We give positive feedback to all buyers and we would appreciate it if you could leave us positive feedback and 5* all round. Should you feel the need to lower the star ratings or leave anything other than positive, please email us beforehand and let us know where we have gone wrong. We strive to improve on our services where needed and appreciate your feedback beforehand. We would appreciate though, should any problems occur to contact us immediately before leaving feedback and letting us rectify any issues. Also, we would love you to give us 5* feedback all round, please bare in mind when leaving feedback that you purchased under the pretences of getting the item within the timeframe mentioned so please do not rate us the same as you would with other sellers offering next day delivery.
