Do not adjust your eyes; they really are telling you the truth!

Welcome along, one and all, to this once in a lifetime opportunity to puchase something truly special.  You'll recall this day in years to come as the pivital moment in your life; when you began to view all things previously dismissed as benign in a whole new light.

You can relax for a moment.......................  Now read on to find out more about this full-fat slice of automotive goodness......

One year ago, this was just a sad and unloved totally standard Aixam 500 Super Luxe.  It was in a pretty poor state; the engine mounts had collapsed, the wheel bearings were shot, the seats had fallen apart and it was just a miserable excuse for a vehicle.  Then fortune shined on it and it found itself winging its way into a cosy corner of our workshop.

This poor little French car was given counselling and it emerged, during a session of deep cognotive therapy, that deep down it wanted to be more like those cool Japanese kids in the movies.  So a plan was hatched....

The standard suspension was completely reworked by our team of Lotus (flower) engineers to give the all important negative camber and a drop in ride height of around 6 inches.  The rear track was also increased at this time, whilst still under anesthetic.  With the bandages still on, it was clear that further surgery was required, so back under the knife it went.  This time it was the bodywork that was in for a tweak - the arches were brutally trimmed back for clearance, the boot floor was removed to relocate the rear shocks and the complete interior was surgically extracted and sent for incineration.

With the altitude adjustment complete, it was time for the attitude adjustment programme to commence.  I'm sure you're all familiar with these such 12 step programmes which involve soul searching and community re-integration in combination with splitter growth, skinny tyres stretched over alloy wheels and insane 8 foot twin exhaust pipes.

Already the car was improving and coming out of its shell.  So much had it's confidence grown that it demanded bucket seats and a swanky interior to impress those foxy 2 Fast 2 Furious chicks.  A quick reality check proved it was not man enough for big seats, so MX5 pews were shoehorned in instead and the interior was painted black.

The final stage in the transformation was to put the slap on.  A suitably subtle shade of asbo-orange was chosen and then overcoated with orange and red metalflake laquer.  Arch extensions from the intrepid explorer Ranger Bob were installed and a bespoke fresh-air cooler was fitted to the front splitter.  The windows were then lace-froted (in a 'ahead of the game' UK first) and the bonnet carbon wrapped.

With Karma once again restored, this little car would like to help others live on....... getting a new MOT may be a touch tricky, so this SORNed trailer queen would be a great diesel engine and gearbox donor.  Perhaps you need new front hubs, a window or two, or maybe a complete brake setup; you'll find it here.

We all enjoy pictures, so here's some more.  Some at home and others are at a show last weekend where it picked up a trophy!

Wow!  We really weren't expecting a reaction like this!

Please make sure you have read the description thoroughly before bidding - as stated it is not MOT'd and will require work to get it on the road; there is a brief outline about this in the questions at the bottom of the page.

Any bidders with less than 10 feedback please email your contact details through, including a landline phone number, or your bids will be removed.

Thankyou.
