DESCRIPTION
These Korkers Chrome wading boots feature the highest tech features in the wading boot/shoe industry. First, the Boa speed lacing system assures you of quick on/off, one-handed lacing, and custom fitting. Secondly, the Boa speed lacing system gives you uniform lace pressure across the entire length of the lace. This makes for a wading boot that is the most comfortable with the best foot support in the business. Third, the Boa lacing system absorbs no water making for a lighter, more environmentally friendly boot. There is no stretch in these metal laces, again adding to the comfort of this boot during long wading stretches.
These Chrome boots also feature an interchangeable sole system, OmniTrax 3.0, that allows for quick, easy changing between the 5 different soles available – felt soles, studded felt soles, rubber Kling-On soles, studded Kling-On soles, Studded rubber soles. This new version of the OmniTrax 3.0 interchangeability allows for sole changing with no tools required. If you travel to fish and are worried about complying with local regulations on the use of felt soles, these wading boots are your best answer. No longer are you required to have multiple pairs of wading boots to allow for different wading situations. Simply and quickly change the soles on your Korkers Chrome boots and you are ready to fish. Each pair of Korkers Chrome wading boots sold by FlyMasters comes with felt soles and Kling-On rubber soles included. Each of the included soles is shown in photos with this ad. Other soles are also available. Watch the short 1-minute video above to see both the Boa Lacing System and the OmniTrax 3.0 Sole System in action.
All of the materials in these boots are waterproof to reduce water absorption. This makes the Korkers an extremely light-weight boot before and after you enter the water. It also allows for quicker drying and helps prevent the spread of invasive species.
While Korkers says that they designed these Chrome boots to allow for True-Fit sizing, our experience says that you will still need a Korkers Chrome wading boot that is 1 to 1 ½ sizes larger than your shoe size to allow for heavy socks and the stocking foot wader material. (Example – If your shoe size is US Size 10, use an US Size 11 Chrome; If your shoe size is US 9 ½, use a US Size11 Chrome.) FlyMasters of Indianapolis, Inc is located in Indianapolis, IN. Our central USA location gives us an advantage in shipping time to most of the country.
