Open to International Bidders! This No Reserve auction, is for a vintage 1979 Paiste "2002" Series 24" RIDE Cymbal.

The serial number stamped into the top of this cymbal is # 934772. This cymbal has the black inked logos on both the front and the back.

This cymbal sounds amazing! It has been sitting in a basement for the last twenty years, and it hasn't seen much use at all. The center hole is slightly elongated, but otherwise, there are no cracks or dents in the cymbal. The cymbal metal has tarnished and darkened with age, but all of the original finish, along with the logos are well preserved. 

John Bonham is known to have used a Paiste ride cymbal just like this. I think he liked using this size, because you can crash as well as ride on it. The center bell is exceptionally loud, and the cymbal ride sound is pleasantly pingy, without a ton of build-up or wash.
