MUHAMMAD ALI-JOE FRAZIER 1971 ORIGINAL BOXING PENNANT 
 

 

This is a an Original Fight Pennant from the Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier fight on March 8, 1971 at Madison Square Garden in New York. The pennant is made of felt and is 25 inches long. It is in Great, new condition and has not ever been hung or displayed. It has pictures of Ali and Frazier on it along with World's Heavyweight Championship Fight, Madison Square Garden Center, March 8, 1971.

The Ali-Frazier fight was one of the most anticipated fights in boxing history. It was the first title fight between a former undefeated Champion and the current Champion and Ali's 1st real fight, after 2 tune-ups, since being banished for 3 years from the ring for refusing induction into the U.S. Military and the Vietnam War. Frazier eventually beat Ali in a 12 round unanimous decision. Ali and Frazier would go on to battle 2 more times and their's would become one of boxing's Greatest rivalries.

This is Truly a Rare and Unique piece of Ali-Frazier and boxing history.
