This is top-of-the-line berber carpet!  It is backed with a heavy duty ribbed backing called NuWave that acts as a deck gripper. Generally, you won't need to install snaps or Velcro as the backing is rated to stay in place up to 35 m.p.h. The backing on this carpet will not come apart or disintegrate under normal wear and tear. We hand cut the carpet to insure a perfect fit to the template, old carpets or pattern. Then, we bind with Sunbrella binding and stitching using your choice of color.

This carpet is superior quality carpet...not the cheap stuff with the black backing that disintegrates and turns to dust. You may find replacement carpet elsewhere for a cheaper price, but you'll be replacing it again in a few years (trust us...we know). We've been re-carpeting boats for over 15 years and we've never had any problems with this carpet.
