Bought in another century for "amateuring" film photography with bodies from different makers, I am selling this Tamron 28-70mm 1:3.5-4.5 manual focus Macro zoom lens model 44A. This specimen has been a loyal companion for Canon and Contax bodies when conditions dictate weight and space constraints. It's been stored and packed in a dry place for the last decade and a half. It is in near mint condition with perfect body inside and out, without dents or marks and clear glass, without scratches, haze or fungus. I can only see few dust particles inside which will not impair sharpness performance. All operations are smooth and crisp as they should be. Optical performance is slightly above average at f/5.6 or smaller aperture; optimal being f/8 and f/11. You can search the web for info, specs and reviews; "adaptall-2.org" being a good starting point. 28 to 70 mm zooming and very close focusing capability at 70mm; slightly less than 1 foot, make it a good "all rounder" when You want or need to travel light. Included: both caps, 62mm Tamron Skylight 1A filter, bayonet lens shade and rainproof padded lens pouch. You will need proper mount for your camera.
