All SpeedoDRD units being shipped are now firmware version 3M, with built in fractional frequency multiplier and divider, in addition to the ratio based frequency adjuster. The multiplier / divider is a special application feature that allows users to do complete gauge cluster or transmission swaps with vehicles that have completely different PPM (pulse per mile) rates, no other calibration device has a wider frequency adjustment range.


Q & A - SpeedoDRD vs. SpeedoHealer

Q.  What are the biggest differences between the SpeedoDRD and the SpeedoHealer?
A.  The SpeedoDRD is smaller and less expensive.

Q.  Both are Plun-n-Play, how easy is the SpeedDRD to install and set-up?
A.  The SpeedoDRD is very simple and should take less then 20 minutes to install. Very fast and easy.

Q.  The SpeedoDRD main unit is not encased like the SpeedoHealer, will that cause the unit to fail?
A.  Tests have been done submerging the SpeedoDRD in a glass jar of water and the continued to work with no issues. 

Q.  The SpeedoHealer has two memory banks so you can have two different set-ups, does the SpeedoDRD?
A.  The SpeedoDRD stores one setting at a time but to change the setting it only takes a matter of minutes.
