This charming, silver enamel art deco butterfly was made in England in the 1920’s or 1930’s. It is marked for sterling silver.
It measures 4.3cms across the top of the wingspan. It is enamelled in jade green mutating into purple and mid blue towards the wing tips. There is fine and realistic detail beneath the enamel and on the gold washed body.
On the reverse is a solid old style c clip and the inscription silver.
This attractive butterfly is in excellent vintage condition and comes to you tissue wrapped in a gift box.
