Lassie: The Painted Hills is an action film produced by MGM and adapted from Alexander Hull's novel Shep of the Painted Hills. Huckleberry Finn is an American television film adaptation of Mark Twain's famous boyhood novel. It was shot in Missouri and stars on Howard. It won a 1976 Primetime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Children's Special."  The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is based on the classic 1876 novel by Mark Twain.
