A note about our 8-Track sales:

1) All tapes have been re-conditioned to provide playback upon receipt - this includes: 
  • unbinding (when necessary) 
  • application of a new splice 
  • addition of a track pad (when necessary)
  • cleaning out the tracking area (especially when dealing with the dreaded 'gummy' tracking wheels on Lear Jet cartridges) 
  • replacement of tracking wheels (when necessary)
2) We can not guarantee the tapes will play on your machine, since 8-Track machine playing and stability are imprecise and we can not be responsible for your playback system; however, if you are reasonably good at machine maintenance then you will have no problems since all tapes were tested before sale.

3) The condition descriptions refer to the visual condition of the casing ONLY;

4) We can not guarantee high-level audio fidelity; all junk tapes that we come across are destroyed and the tapes we refurbish and sell are deemed acceptable based on their collectibility. If the casing shows significant wear then the chance of the playback being affected is increased, but we do not sell anything that we believe to be defective in any way.
