1880's cranberry & white opalescent spatter 'Bloxam' embossed patterned kerosene oil No. 1 stem lamp. Please reference Thuro book 2 page 101. The Bloxam lamps are some the most highly embossed patterned of all of the Victorian opalescent lamps, they are absolutely beautiful lamps. Cranberry & white opalescent spatter glass in the embossed patterned font; with clear highly embossed glass stem and foot. Excellent example with lovely color; it even has small dots of cobalt color in the glass. Original brass Hobbs No. 1 collar and excellent working condition No. 1 burner and wick. Undamaged crisp condition, normal and customary bubbles and strawmarks in the early glass. Wonderful period Victorian stem lamp to add to any collection or any decor.
