This is a new set of motorcycle heavy duty shock absorbers.  The free length from eye to eye is 12.75" which is 1/4" longer than the stock 12.5" shocks.  The 1/4" has no significant impact on ride or handling. They have chrome bodies with dual red springs. The lower spring is wound tighter than the upper spring which provides a progressive resistance. The springs have 5 tension adjustment positions. The spring adjuster tool is included. The original shocks have rubber bushings which tend to crack and split over time. This set of shocks has all metal bushings which will not wear out. The proper metal bushings are already installed for ease of installation.  The bushings in the lower shock eyelets are a different size than the top. The green wire ties that you see in the photos are there to secure the bushings and keep them from being lost. These shocks come ready to install as they are with no further modification needed.
