 Thanks for looking. This is a laser cut blanking plate, made from 1 mm 304 stainless steel. This plate don't need hole for the ecu.  It is slotted so that it can be fitted easily, as on later models it can be very hard to get the egr system apart to fit a plate with just holes. Plus there is a limited gap on some later models, hence the plate has to be thin to get it in and for the mating faces to fit parallel, or it will blow.

This EGR plate fits the 2000cc DW10 ATED & THE DW10TD 8V ENGINES FITTED IN:



Citroen:

               Berlingo / C5  / C3 / Xsara

Peugeot:

               206 / 306 / 307 / 406 / 607 / Expert / Partner

FIAT:

              Scudo


It will not fit the Suzuki Vitara that has the same 8 valve HDi engine, because the inlet manifold is different.


 

Information note,

 

Inside some championships or race competitions, it is possible to leave out this valve or replace it with elements which don’t impair vehicle performance. So in this cases is when placing these valves in our engines is allowed to.

This item offers the testing of the EGR valve in order to verify its right and effective operation. It is indicated when we can observe an incorrect or not well performance in the engine. In this case we can install this valve for its testing. If the problem is resolved after installing the valve, indicates we must clean it up or replace it for a new valve.
