DescriptionAntique Victorian panel mounted on board, which has been beautifully hand sewn with coloured wool needlework in the form of blue tit and chaffinch birds.
AGE
Mid Victorian, circa 1860
SIZE
The panel measures 34cm (13½") high, 42.5cm (16¾") wide and 1.5cm (½").
CONDITION
The panel is in a good condition for age, although there is water staining and brown discolouration to the fabric, especially to one corner. Also there are several small holes, plus loose threads to the edges, where mounted to the board. Please refer to the above photographs for details of condition.
