Publish registration sites, customer feedback forms, service requests, surveys, and more. Instant Web Publishing requires no special hardware or software and supports popular web browsers.
ODBC (Open Database Connectivity) and JDBC (Java Database Connectivity) support makes it possible to read from and write to FileMaker Pro databases hosted by FileMaker Server Advanced with a variety of external programs and development tools. Get up to 50 simultaneous ODBC/JDBC remote connections. These connections can be established by programs running on the local server or from programs running on remote clients.

FileMaker Server 11 installs what you need to use PHP including the PHP engine, the FileMaker API for PHP, sample code and documentation. If you already have PHP 5.0 or higher, you can choose to keep your existing installation.
Additional Requirements

Networking:
TCP/IP; FileMaker Server 11 is limited to 250 simultaneous FileMaker Pro/Pro Advanced client connections and FileMaker Server 11 Advanced does not limit the number of simultaneous FileMaker Pro/Pro Advanced client connections; each FileMaker Pro/Pro Advanced client requires a licensed copy of FileMaker Pro/Pro Advanced 9, 10 or 11.
Web browser requirements:
To use a database shared with Instant Web Publishing, Windows web users need Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or 8 or Firefox 3.5. Mac users need Safari 4.x or Firefox 3.5. On both platforms, some earlier versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer and Safari are blocked. Other Mozilla family browsers are not blocked, but are unsupported and users will receive a dialog encouraging them to upgrade to a supported browser. JavaScript must be enabled in the web browser.
