Autograph book containing a beautiful authentic set of Beatles autographs circa 1963/64,
one of the nicest sets of Beatles autographs to surface in a while, with John adding "To Diane".

Comes with a letter of provenance, which reads in part:

I am writing this letter to authenticate the autograph book being presented by Mrs. Diane (name withheld by me).

The autographs in it were collected personally by my ex-husband Michael Bailey, when he worked
at Granada TV in the early sixties as a gift for my then 10 year old cousin Diane who was Beatle
mad at the time.

He worked on the daily news programme on 1963-64,called Scene at Six Thirty and People Places
which both featured a pop group at the end. As Manchester was a hub of pop at the time we had
many visiting groups and the Beatles certainly made their very first appearance on the programme.
Michael was very friendly with them, especially John and Paul. while at Granada he also
designed the iconic Whole Lotta Shaking (set) with Jerry Lee Lewis and Gene Vincent as
well as several other shows which still can be seen on You Tube.He subsequently went to
ATV at Elstree and designed Sunday Night at the London Palladium shows with Tom Jones,
Val Doonican, and Liberace, then went on to period drama like Clayhangar and Anthony and Cleopatra
with Trever Nunn. This can always be verified by checking with a Google search.

Feel free to contact me on the above address (which is listed at the top of this letter) at any time.

Yours sincerely
(Name withheld by me for privacy by me.)

**** Beatles footnote: The Beatles made their first television appearance on UK television on
the 17th of October 1962 on the show "People and Places"….They subsequently appeared on
"Scene at Six Thirty" and "People and Places" a dozen times over the next two years.

Naturally this set of Beatles autographs also comes with a certificate of authenticity.

normal wear to it and the spine while not tight (a tad lose) is intact and considering that
