Highly rated live double CD by IQ for the first time in regular trade

This strong double CD was recorded at a sold out gig at “The Met” in Bury (England) in front of  an ethusiastic audience on September 26th 2015. It has been released as a limited edition in the “Archive Collection“ series as AC007 and was only available directly from the IQ shop and on IQ concerts so far. Now this rare double CD was also offered to selected shops.   

The studio album “The Road of Bones“ was voted as best album of 2014 by the  Dutch Pogressive Rock Page and the English Classic Rock Society and IQ also as best band of the year by the latter. The live album version now on offer has received a superb rating with more than 4.7 out of a maximum of 5 stars on progarchives.com.

This edition with two hours playing time was produced by Mike Holmes and Rob Aubrey engineered the magnificent live sound. The band presents a strong set list with all tracks of the single studio CD edition and 8 tracks from their rich back catalogue, with excellent vocals and strong instrumentation. So the band comment printed in this edition ends with: “Join us for a magical two-hour musical journey, uniquely spellbinding, uniquely IQ.”

Hoch bewertete Live-Doppel-CD von IQ erstmals im regulären Handel

Diese starke Doppel-CD wurde am 26. September 2015 im “The Met” in Bury (England) vor ausverkauftem Haus und einem begeisterten Publikum aufgenommen. Sie ist als limitierte Edition im Rahmen der “Archive Collection“ als AC007 erschienen und war bisher nur direkt im IQ-Shop und bei IQ-Konzerten erhältlich. Nun wird diese seltene Doppel-CD auch an ausgewählte Shops vertrieben.

Diese 2-stündige Edition wurde Mike Holmes produziert und Rob Aubrey war dabei für den hervorragenden Live-Sound zuständig. Die Band präsentiert darauf eine starke Setliste mit allen Tracks der Einzel-CD-Ausgabe des Studioalbums sowie 8 weitere Songs aus ihrem umfangreichen Back-Katalog, mit exzellentem Gesang und starker Instrumentierung.
