Antique Optometrist Eyeglass Cabinet

This store eyeglass display cabinet dates from around the early 1900's. The cabinet is veneered with rift cut white oak and has a plywood backing. There are twelve drawers on both sides covered with a faux reptile skin and used for storing eyeglasses. All drawers easily pull out completely. The drawers are also lined with velvet. On the outside of each drawer there is a chrome plated frame for custom slide in labels. The center section is 20" wide and has two sliding glass panels. Inside this center section is an additional glass shelf. This is a very solid and sturdy cabinet made for years of commercial use. Please see photos for condition and more details.
