This watch is a custom made re-casing of a pocket watch movement that was made by Patek Philippe in 1911 with a new custom made cloisonne enamel dial Tango of the Archangel .


MOVEMENT:

-Screw-compensating balance wheel with blued hairspring in mint good condition


-Ruby end-stone on a balance wheel, escapement wheel and pallet fork.

-Just serviced and oiled with a Swiss made oil. Keeping very good time.

Real cloisonne dial Tango of the Archangel inspired by the work of  Cornelis Theodorus Maria van Dongen  Tango of the Archangel (1922).

Looks  like perfect addition for this antique movement.

Nowadays only top watch brands use cloisonne enamel dials on limited edition series. This is a cloisonne enamel dial made by atelier Ponyglass in the  traditional  cloisonne enamel technique with 970 silver wires on a 970 silver cap.  All handmade, a lot of times  fired on 800 degrees  in a kiln and polished dial. Mixed opaque and transparent colors make the watch an art object . The watch for a sophisticated buyer.
