Attach a safety buckle to the harness that you child is escaping form and unless they are an Houdini they will no longer be escaping.
We personally have been using one for two years now on child number one and it has been worth its weight in gold many times over as it started with us when our first born got out when we were driving on a highway then again in a high chair and both him and the highchair went toppling over so we know something had to exist to stop this from happening.
