A great piece to use as intended and/or a fantastic piece to have a decorative ornament
The women is wearing a white bandana with red polka dots on her head which is tied into a bow at the front
She is also wearing a white blouse which has yellow buttons and sleeve cuff, and a nice red scarf round her neck with a yellow trim
The right arm moves up and down from the shoulder joint which contacts the mouth when the arm is raised up
The coin is to be placed in the women's hand and then when the arm is raised to the mouth, the mouth opens and the coin is inserted in to the bank
As the arm is raised and the mouth opens, the eyes also roll up into the back of the women's head as well
There is a small lever on the back of the women's left side to operate the moving arm
On the bottom of the bank reads " J.E STEVENS PAT 455 1869 "
The money can be accessed by removing the bottom of the bank by one screw
Please note that this bank may show signs of slight chips and wear to give the antique finished appearance
