PP pre-filter the sand micron-mud, rust, worms and the other large particles can be filtered out.

-Secondary filtration

Q: How often should I clean and maintain the filter?

A: Before storing the filter, disassemble the unit. Use clean water to wash the part.

After cleaning, allow the parts to dry and then reassemble. Store the filter in a cool and dry location.

Note: Rinse carbon fiber filter surface gently to prevent damage.

Q: Can it filter seawater?

A:The OD7 can be used for the purification of fresh water. The diameter of salt is less than 0.0001μm. Dissolved salts and essential minerals can pass through 0.01μm pumping water filter. miniwell water filters.  Using this pump will only decrease salinity, not effectively eliminate it.

Q: How does this compare to water purification tablets?

A: The filtering of a DeLiteOD7 outdoor water filter is much better than water cleaning tablets. Water after filtering does not improve color or smell.

Q : How fast does the filter work? 

A: That depends on the quantity of water source, for the general water (not very poor ), the filtering speed is about 500 ml/min.

Q: How can you tell if the filter is jammed?

A: If it is hard to depress the handle, or the outlet water flow is small, the built-in carbon fiber filter maybe depleted.  This is easily done by using replacement filters, but filters should expect an average of 2,000 liters before needing to be replaced.  Replacement filters can be purchased online at Hoop-Snake.
