Great for installing aftermarket engines into golf carts or Putting golf cart clutches onto honda clone motors.
LISTING Includes:
1) 1" Precision Taper adapter
1) Properly sized backing spacer.
1) Instruction sheet
Note:
The crankshaft may need to be cut, drilled and re-tapped to get your clutch as close as possible to your engine case. I have found that somewhere around 2-1/2" to 2-3/4" of the output shaft protruding from the crank case is generally ideal. (You can cheat by measuring the crankshaft of your old engine if you have it as a reference) You will also need a bolt to match your the thread pattern on your new engines crankshaft. It should be a similar length to the stock bolt that you removed when taking off your clutch from the stock motor. (OPTION: you could use the appropriate size all-thread and cut to length in place of a long bolt and use two nuts on the end to make a jam nut, works great at a work around)
