SHIPPING & RETURNS POLICY
We ship with UPS or FedEx. If you require a specific carrier, please contact us ahead of time or leave a note in the "message to seller" field at checkout stating that preference. If you need the item faster, please choose from the expedited UPS options listed on the page. Please be aware that your order may ship "Signature Required" to avoid the unpleasant experience of a lost or stolen package. Residents of Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico should contact us for a shipping quote.
Orders shipping to California addresses, or picked up locally, will be charged California sales tax. Please note that if you create music for Film or TV, you may be entitled to a reduced tax rate of 3.5%. Contact Westlake Pro at 323-845-1145 for details.
If your purchase has been damaged in shipping, or if the product is not as represented, then we'll take it back. Just send us an email and let us know. We want you to be happy with your purchase.
We provide free shipping via UPS or FedEx Ground to the contiguous 48 United States, on most items.
Shipping fees to other locations will be calculated and added to customer invoices. Local duties, taxes and charges are not included in the sale price or ship charges. Westlake Pro is not responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees outside of California and/or the USA. In the event that the customer refuses a shipment, all shipping costs are not refunded. Please note that in some cases return shipping can cost as much as double the original ship cost.
We offer a 15-day return period. Items must be returned with all original packaging as well as all included items. Items that are not returned in original, resalable condition are subject to a 15% restocking fee. We charge a 15% restocking fee on returned items only if the item is clearly used and or the packing is tarnished. A 10% re-stock is more likely if the unit comes back in mint condition. The ship cost we paid Fedex to ship your item will be deducted as well. In some cases restock fee's and ship costs can be applied as a store credit.
We will exchange a defective unit for the same unit within the 30-day period.
Items that can not be returned include: software, units with contents or packaging that is damaged/missing, and items that are considered for personal use (such as earphones, headphones, microphones, instrument mouthpieces, or other items that you wouldn't want to purchase if someone else had previously used them). Also, Items which we do not normally stock (i.e. "Special Orders", discontinued products, close-outs, used products, etc.) are non-returnable. We strongly suggest that you check your order after receiving it to be sure that it is in proper working order.
Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable, including a reasonable ship cost calculated into free US shipping best offer prices.
Please contact us for our Return Form and return ship instructions before returning any items. Upon receipt of the returned product a credit will be issued according to your payment method. If any product is damaged in shipping, you should address the issue promptly with the appropriate carrier. Any return sent back without a processed return form will not be processed.
