JUPITER-12 would be copied from the German Carl Zeiis Jena Biogon 1: 2,8 f = 3,5cm. The first lenses were manufactured from German blanks later lens was recalculated under the domestic variety of optical glass. "JUPITER-12" - the most common Soviet wide-angle lens for rangefinder cameras.

Lens of has such good properties as a neutral color emission, gives good bokeh - in the center of the circle, on the edges of flips in the triangle. Also, one can not ignore such a strong side as the lack sphero chromaticity sufficient sharpness, good contrast, nice constructive.

As a result, for not a lot of money, you get a good picture!
