About Us

Vintage Toys & Games have been dealing in traditional, vintage and collectable toys, games, models and jigsaw puzzles since 2004 and we have been featured in several national newspapers and on BBC radio.

Postage & Packing

Items are normally dispatched within 1 or 2 working days - very often the next working day. If there will be any delay in dispatching your order, we will contact you within 1 working day of receiving your order.

We pay a lot of attention to ensuring that your purchase will reach you in the best condition. All larger items are bubble-wrapped and then packed in sturdy outer boxes. Smaller items are sent in a smaller box or a good quality padded postal bag.

We have over 10 years experience of shipping high quality toys, games, puzzles and models throughout the UK and worldwide. We use the same packaging materials, whether your item is being delivered to the United Kingdom or overseas, so you can be sure your item will be adequately protected while in transit.

While it is very unusual for packages to go astray or get damaged, it is possible. In such circumstances, it is the responsibility of the buyer to make a claim for compensation but we will do our best to help. We always obtain 'Proof of Posting' certificates and are happy to provide copies of these and any other relevant paperwork, and to assist with any claim.

International Shipping

We can deliver most items worldwide. All international items are sent by courier or tracked/signed Air Mail so will require a signature on delivery. We ensure that all packages are correctly addressed and have the relevant Customs labels attached.

PLEASE NOTE - If you are bidding or buying from outside the UK, it is the responsibility of any potential bidder/ buyer to check whether the item will be liable for any local taxes or import duties. Payment of any local taxes or import duties is the responsibility of the buyer.

Returns

We aim to provide detailed descriptions and good quality photographs for every item we sell. With original vintage items, we also always mention known defects and imperfections. We are always happy to answer any questions and provide additional pictures, if required.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your item, please ensure that you contact us within 2 days of receipt and we will do our best to resolve the problem . However, we are prepared to supply unlimited photographs prior to purchase, so we cannot accept a return unless the item is faulty or not as described.

We cannot cover any postage costs for items that are returned unless they are not as described. We cannot normally cover return postage costs from outside the UK.
