*Brief info

This is the world's first macro lens, a revolutionary lens designed by the outstanding engineer Frank G. Back, the owner of the American Zoomar company . It was manufactured in limited quantities at Kilfitt works in Munich. In the year the lens was introduced Kilfitt company merged with Zoomar, so the lens went into production under the trade mark of Zoomar Muenchen.

With a complicated design, the lens is not brilliant as for its optical characteristics (a 17-glass design is a rare success today, and in the 1960's it was just fantastic), but its exceptional build quality makes it a collector value.

As is the case with the other Kilfitt / Zoomar lenses, it can be mounted on a dozen of different camera systems via interchangeable mounts.

Cosmetic: A/B, excellent , with normal used marks, aperture adjustment is loose, as pictures.

Optic/Glass: No haze, No fungus, No scratches. With little dust in lens, but won't affect image.

Mechanical Problem: None
