About the Artist: I am a self-taught artist. I was born into a Tuareg nomad family, and raised in Niger, West Africa. I have lived here in the U.S. for over 20 years. After a stroke in 2000, I couldn’t stop the need to create. Due to the amount that I paint, I decided to offer my work for sale online. My work has been collected around the world for the last few years.

Much of the inspiration for my work comes from my own life, but most of all it comes from my feelings at the time I paint it.
