Push the button for the 5th time , the scanner turns off .

*  WHEN USING AS A THREE WIRE SCANNER , 
      to test this item :
Please connect the red wire to + 12 Volt 
( to  POSITIVE ) and connect the YELLOW wire to GROUND (NEGATIVE )
Connect the BLACK wire to a COMING NEGATIVE TRIGGER 
SIGNAL ( coming from an alarm or a regular switch ).
When the black wire receives a negative signal , then press the button 1 time , 
2nd time , 3rd time , 4th time to see the different modes of this scanner.
Push the button for the 5th time , the scanner turns off .
