This Krautkramer USM35X flaw detector is in fair condition, complete with case, charger and new lithium Ion battery. There is some signs of usage, but overall, this unit is ready for inspection work immediately. There is some cracks in the outer casing, and some scratches, but price has been adjusted accordingly. Also, the unit has a current calibration until JUL17. The USM35X is a favorite unit of most inspectors, as it is an easy to use unit, with a simple user interface. The screen is extremely bright and clear and can be seen even in direct sunlight. The unit comes complete, ready to use with REF and AWS software options included. New, this unit retailed for $9650, and here is the opportunity to get it at a fraction of the price.

The latest version of the USM 35 portable ultrasonic flaw detector from GE’s Inspection Technologies business, is now totally protected against the ingress of dust and high pressure jets of water to IP 66 and contains new software which allows its operation to Japanese weld inspection standards.
