Hotline Wetsuits 5mm Kiteboarding Kitesurfing and Surfing Glove - Size Large The Hotline gloves are our favorite gloves for kiteboarding by far. It's long been our struggle to find the right mix of warmth, durability, and flexibility and Hotline nailed it with their redesigned glove. Best of all they run $15-20 less than the "kiteboarding" specific gloves made by Mystic, NP, etc. Our local riders have been loving these even into the cold water season! This 5mm model is much stiffer than the 3mm model making it more of a chore to hold the control bar. We typically recommend the 3mm glove even for water in the 50's. However, surfing with these 5mm gloves has been great! The Hotline gloves are "pre-curved" and have a water/wind resistant backhand that helps to reduce evaporative cooling off of your hand while holding your bar. The grip on the palms is great and allows for comfortable control without the slip and slide we have found with other leading gloves. Durability with the name Hotline goes hand in hand. Their wetsuits and boots have been phenomenal after years of hard testing. We expected nothing less from their gloves and we've found the gloves meet our expectations. However, be mindful of moving parts on your kiteboarding gear like "wear" and "pinch" spots that can snag the neoprene on any glove. Never wrap up lines with gloves on!!! That is one way to surely turn any neoprene glove into a disposable one-time use... We've found these run a bit small. Please order a size up from your typical glove. Features:
