Large reproduction poster based on a commemorative stamp for the Berlin Secession Exhibition held in 1915.

Although not as well known as the Vienna Secession, the Berliner Secession group featured many of Germany's greatest artists and sculptors from the early part of the 20th Century and lasted until the onset of Hitler and the Nazis who viewed much of their work as "degenerate". Notable members include Max Leibermann and Kathe
Kollwitz, the Norwegian painter Edvard Munch was also closely involved with the movement .

The poster features a beautiful graphic of a woman in Victorian costume with a bear (the symbol of Berlin) and has been printed on thick quality 210 gsm paper coated with a subtle matt UV protective laminate .

The print is sized at A2 ( approx 60 x40 cm / 24 x 17 inches ) and is suitable for framing. Fits any standard A2 frame
