The first 300 units were made for the Japanese market and all were sold in 30 minutes according to Panasonic, only 900 copies of the SL-1200GAE  were released worldwide which makes this extremely very rare. Now they are Completely Sold Out. 

This Limited edition is different from the Normal SL-1200G which will be released in the winter.

The Tone Arm of the SL1200GAE is made of very light material 

(Aluminum for the SL-1200G) and (Magnesium for the SL-1200GAE) Which has been cold drawn During manufacture to optimize The production of the material  to increase damping effect. Also will have a plaque with limited Number
