This is a beautiful, hand made, Delicate, VINTAGE IKEBANA BASKET VASE (FLOWER ARRANGER) FROM A THREE GENERATION ESTATE that I am currently liquidating. It's in beautiful condition - no breaks or damage. The workmanship is exquisite, including fine and detailed alternating weave patterns and a twisted handle - very difficult to describe the intricate details, so have done my best to capture in photos. Here are measurements: overall height 25 1/2"; width of handle 8 1/2";  basket height 14 3/4"; width at base of basket 6". The weave is gorgeous! It is a very Tall piece. A beautiful piece of art - authentic Japanese / Chinese Ikebana baskets are rare and hard to find. I am uncertain of the dating, so leave it up to the experts on ebay. Perfect for your home, office, collection or extravagant gift to someone very, very special! Excellent condition - no pet/no smoking home.
