FAQ:

Happy for items to be collected, from Northamptonshire, NN6 area a few miles from M1/J18 or A14 J1-2. Sorry no cheques or postal orders. Items must have been Paypal paid and cleared before or cash on collection.

Postage quoted is for UK delivery and may include an allowance for packing. (To keep buyer postage cost down I use recycled packaging but sometimes need to buy new). I am happy to combine items to reduce postage cost.

Overseas buyers please check before bidding or buying to confirm if I will post and cost.

Channel Isles, Highlands, Eire postage costs more please contact before buying. Courier delivery is not available to some postcodes. Large or more expensive items are insured and tracked.

If your item is urgent….let me know and I will post by a different courier and add the extra cost to the invoice. Postage is generally chosen to keep costs down for buyer so not always quickest service.

Items are packed well and will be sent as they appear in the listing. Photographs are retained as proof of condition in case of loss or damage.

Items DAMAGED in transit, please notify me IMMEDIATELY…I’m happy to refund but will need photos of damaged item, internal and external packaging, description of item/damage, when received. I have 7 days to claim compensation so you must let me know as soon as you receive item.

Items LOST in transit, if you think your item is taking longer than expected to get to you…please GET IN TOUCH don’t just leave it! I have 7 days to claim compensation so you must let me know as soon as you think item is missing.

I may be able to arrange man and van for delivery of larger items to NN, LE and CV areas for an agreed delivery price, please ebay message me. Whilst I’m happy to recommend one, I cannot arrange man and van courier service for other areas.

I will work with buyer if you wish to arrange and (buyer) pay for a man and van of choice to collect items. I am unable to pack furniture/larger items and buyer is responsible for arrangement, item during transit and safe receipt of item. Any loss or damage will be buyers responsibility. Items paid for by Paypal and cleared before collection.

Photos are always of the actual item being sold and offer additional condition report to buyer.

Items are available for viewing before purchase by prior arrangement.

Electrical items are sold as display only and NOT tested for working order or electrical safety.

Sizes or weights in listings are approximate.

All items are vintage or old….and may have: dings, dust and dents, tears and holes, stains, scratches and splinters, chips and crazing, treated woodworm holes, rust and corrosion, chips and cracking or simply wear and tear….due to age and use over a period of time.

I try to be as honest as possible when listing and add lots of photos which are always of the actual item being sold and offer additional condition report to buyer. However, I am not infallible and mistakes may occur. If I have missed something or simply don’t see it the same as buyer…please ask for additional information. If you find my description to be missing something…please contact me and allow me to put right any issues, before leaving negative feedback….it will be an oversight and not intentional.
