Here's an awesome vintage bedspread. This vintage twin size (see measurements) bedspread from the 30's or 40's has bands of satin like pink in color with crochet lace in the middles and side. This is a lightweight throw and the crochet lace is in an oatmeal color.  I believe this was a handmade item as some areas the stitching is not exactly straight as someone may have made the bedspread. See picture four and seven. I also found at the end of the spread on the three pink satin material it appears they ran out of material for the full length and had to add more pink satin material to the end.See picture 11. I did find one small opening in the seam as you can see in picture 10 and one very tiny stain.  Due to the age and nature of the material I am not able to clean. I am not quite sure how this item should be cleaned due to the age. All I can suggest is dry cleaning or gentle hand wash, but I would advise you to research on how to care for this item before doing so.

Please note: These items are anywhere from 20 to 70's years old and that unless the item (whether vintage or modern) is stated to be, new or like new, you can expect that all of the items I am selling to be pre-worn, pre-loved and that they will show signs of their wear and/or age as that is something I cannot control. Please keep in mind I am a non-smoker and my home is smoke free but I cannot guarantee their history. I strive to only find good quality pieces and pass them unto you, but because they are vintage pieces it is hard to find vintage clothing in pristine condition. If I find stains or rips I will point it out to you along with pictures. I try to list all imperfections, though there is the possibility that I may overlook the small things. All vintage pieces I go over to ensure cleanliness. Some items I am not able to clean due to the nature of the item but if it is washable I may iron, wash, sew, or the item before sending to you, but cannot guarantee they will be pristine and non-smelling. Some of the clothes I sell are a larger size than my mannequin, and have been pinned/clipped so that they will fit the model better. Please see the measurements to insure a proper fit.
