• This shade is called Leyburn 383. It is a happy, tweed blend of yellow gold shades, with bright highlights of sunshine yellow, flame orange, leaf-bud green and very subtle, shadow greys.
  
• 100% pure British wool.

• After your finished item is first washed, this wool will fluff-up and soften well.
• I would say that this wool is soft enough for many people to wear next to the skin, but of course, everyone is different. 
• The natural, insulating, pure wool fibres keep in warmth but allow your body to breathe at the same time. It knits the ultimate warm jumpers and accessories and household items, amongst many other items of woolly gorgeousness. 
• Perfect for colour-work and textile art projects.
• Knit it loosely for bulk and warmth or knit tightly to keep out the wind.
• I am only selling this yarn as I had more than I needed for my own projects.
• Everyone's tension/gauge is different, but Rowan recommend 3.25mm needles (USA 3) and get 26.5 stitches and 38 rows to a 4" (10cm) square.
  I used 3.50mm needles and got 25 stitches and 36 rows to a 4" (10cm) square.
• Rowan say it knits as 4-ply weight. I would say it is a thick 4-ply, more towards sport weight.
  
• This listing is for approx. 250g of yarn, supplied in ten balls. Sorry no labels.
  
• Approximate length per 25g = 98 yards (approx. 90m), so you will have approx. 980 yards (900m) in total.
